Real Kashmir football team has taken everyone by a surprise. The recent performance of the team in the ongoing I-league tournament has proved it beyond doubt that team has the potential to outclass any team.
The Real Kashmir team shocked the football giants Mohun Bagan by beating them 2-1 in the I-league match played in Kolkata. Soon after Mohun Bagan lost the match to the debutants Real Kashmir the coach of the losing team Sankarlal Chakraborty resigned. Apparently he couldn’t withstand the shock.
Barring few outside players, the Real Kashmir team comprises of local Kashmiri players. These youth from strife-torn Valley have proved their mettle and with each passing day they are becoming more and more mature.
Outstanding performance of Real Kashmir football team should serve as an eye opener for the people who have launched vicious propaganda against the Kashmiri youth by projecting them as “hate mongers” and “stone-pelters.”
The emergence of Real Kashmir has opened new avenues for Kashmir youth. More and more youth are getting inclined towards football and have started believing that if others can excel why they can’t.
Kashmiri youth have once again proved that there is no dearth of talent in the Valley and if their energy and potential are used in a proper way then the sky is the limit.

Almost everyone in Kashmir wants Real Kashmir to shine and prove it to the world that if Kashmiri youth are given the opportunities then can shine and take the world in their stride. Performances of Real Kashmir are an inspiration for young footballers as they would try their best to follow the footsteps of their seniors.
