Lack of electric poles deprive Pulwama village of electricity

Srinagar, Dec 31: A sarpanch from Wasimarg Rajpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district Monday appealed Power Development Department with folded hands to provide electric poles and wire so that a transformer lying in the village from past six months could become functional.
“People expect wonders from me as I was recently elected as Sarpanch. In June this year, a power transformer was allotted to us by Dr Haseeb Drab. The transformer is lying in our village from past six month and so for PDD has neither provided electric poles nor wire to us,” said Sarpanch Nisar Ahmed Bhat.
He appealed PDD to address the grievance of the villagers. (CNS)
