Traffic police issues advisory in view of proposed JRL march

Srinagar, Dec 16: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday issued a traffic advisory in view of the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) call for march towards Badami Bagh army base Monday.
A traffic police spokesperson said in view of security restrictions in Srinagar tomorrow traffic will not be allowed to ply on Pantha Chowk-Sonawar-Dalgate Road stretch.
He asked people who intend to travel to South Kashmir to take Bypass Road.
Similarly People coming from south Kashmir Shall adopt Bypass Road to reach City Centre, the advisory said.
People who have to travel from Nishat and adjacent areas to reach City Centre shall adopt Boulevard-Badyari Road, it said.
The advisory said no traffic shall be allowed to ply on Gupkar Road stretch from Grand Place Crossing.
“Commuters are requested to use alternate routes to reach their destinations,” it said.
Any inconvenience caused is highly regretted, it added.
