JRL calls for 3-day shutdown, ‘Badam Bagh chalo’ on Monday

Srinagar, Dec 15: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Saturday called for a three-day shutdown and mourning in Kashmir against the killings of seven civilians and three militants in Pulwama district.
“From today onwards for three days mourning and complete protest strike will be observed all across,” said the Mirwaiz on Twitter.

As reported earlier three militants and an army soldier were killed in a gunfight at Kharpora Sarnooi village, while seven civilians died after the forces opened fire on protesters in subsequent clashes.
