Sopore shuts for 2nd day against killing of two local militants

Sopore, Dec 14: Sopore town here in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district observed a complete shutdown against the killing of two local militants for the second consecutive day on Friday.
Witnesses said that shops and other business establishments remained closed and traffic was also seen of the roads.
Witnesses added that large number of people visited the homes of two slain militants to express sympathies with the families.
Pertinently, in an overnight gunfight with the government forces in Brath Kalan area of Sopore Owais Ahmad Bhat alias Abu Bakar of Gund Brath and Tahir Ramzan Dar alias Abu Abdullah of Saidpora both were associated with Lashker-e-Toiba militant outfit on Thursday.
