DC Kargil reviews digitization of land records

Kargil, Nov 26: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal today reviewed the progress in the digitization process of records in the district under the Digital India Land Record Modernization (DILRMP) at a meeting of the concerned officers held here.
Regional Director Survey and Land Record and Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil Sonam Chosjor informed the meeting that out of the target of 5, 25,000 documents, 4, 38,000 documents have been scanned till date. The ADC further said that quality checking of 1, 90,390 pages has been carried out while as 118 ground control points have also been installed.
The DC instructed the officers concerned to ensure that the remaining quota of land documents are digitized on priority so that the targets are achieved within the stipulated time frame.
