PDP delegation visits Iqbal Khanday’s residence

Srinagar, Nov 20: A condolence meeting at the head office of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chaired by party general secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone was held on Tuesday in which tributes were paid to state’s former chief secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khanday. The party leaders hailed the services late Khanday rendered for the welfare of the society and for the upliftment of the downtrodden, stating that the Officer will be remembered for times to come for his dedication and integrity.
Later on, a delegation of the PDP leaders led by PDP General secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura and Srinagar District President Mohammad Khurshid Alam went to the residence of Iqbal Khanday to express solidarity with the bereaved family.
