32 years young officer Khalid Bashir dies in Delhi

Baramulla, Nov 11: A great human heart and legendary officer Khalid Bashir from Sopore has passed away in Delhi. Close relatives of Khalid Bashir said that he died after a long illness and had been struggling with life for several years.
A pall of gloom descended on the family and friends of Khalid as soon as the news of his death spread.
There will be none like Khalid Bashir, Irfan Hafeez Lone a senior Advocate and social activist said.
An era of humbleness and integrity has passed with the death of Khalid Bashir and that no one can replace him, Irfan added.
North Head Precious Kashmir Arshad Farooq and other journalists have expressed deep condolences with the family.
“Although he died at the age of 32, he left us bereft – because there will be none like Khalid Bashir again,” advocate Azim Pandith said in his tribute to the departed soul.
“As a lawyer for years in Baramulla and Sopore, his lasting contributions were to help the poor, which gave legal relief to hundreds of people,” senior advocate Irfan Hafeez Lone said.
He said we have lost a human being,an icon and inspiration.
Former prosecution director, Mustaq Ahamad Pandith also expressed deep condolences with the family of Khalid Bashir.
Meanwhile, thousands of people participated in the last rites of Khalid Bashir.
