Baramulla, Nov 6: At least 51 persons were mauled by dogs in Kantabagh area of Baramulla on Tuesday creating panic in the area.
Locals said that dogs created horror and panic gripped Kantabagh Baramulla.
The injured were rushed to district hospital Baramulla were doctors on duty provided them first aid and administered anti-rabies vaccine.
“We received 51 injured persons with injuries on nose, legs and arms. All the injured were given first aid besides we injected them anti-rabies vaccine and after keeping them under observation for some time discharged them from the hospital,” Medical superintendent said.
Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo said we have already given instructions to all the hospital to make available all kinds of vaccines.
