Militants attack army patrol in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 30: Militants on Tuesday attacked an army party in Meemander area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An official said that militants opened fire on a patrolling party of 34 RR in Meemander village Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was retaliated by the army troopers. However, there was no immediate report of any injury on either side.
Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off by the forces to nab the attackers.
