Civilian killings unacceptable: Qayoom Wani

Srinagar, Oct 22: In an emergency meeting of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) President Ab Qayoom Wani condemned the blood bath in Laroo Kulgam in which seven civilians were killed and more than 60 civilians were injured.
In a statement, in the meeting Ab Qayoom Wani condemned the innocent killings in Kulgam and said that civilian killings can never be justified and are unacceptable to the people of J&K.
Wani urged upon Human right organisations to use their good offices to stop such type of killings so that sense of insecurity may end. He demanded that open court enquiry be conducted to punish the security personnel involved in the incident at an earliest so that such incidents may not be repeated in future.
EJAC President along with other leaders of EJAC showed sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured ones. (PTK)
