“If you are irritated by every rub, how will your mirror be polished”.
“Dance when you’re broken open. Dance if you’ve torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you’re perfectly free.” Moulana Rumi (R.A)
Muslim civilisation, after the revival of last Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), commenced the conquest of lands, unknown to them. They started the mission of propagation of message of Islam. Because in old and new testaments, our cousins brothers and sisters,(i.e, Jews and Christian’s from the descendants of Hazrat- e Ibrahim(A.S)(Abraham), Hazrat-e Yaqoob(A.S) fabricated and concocted the message of Allah ( Elohim, Yahweh, Adonai in Jewish and Rabbinical literature).
Initially Muslims limited their applicable life into the holy sacred book Quran and Sunnah. This idea of revival of message of Allah (subhana wa ta ‘ala) dates back, since 620 A.D. So in real essence, Message of Allah (subhana wa ta ‘ala) incepts from the notion of khalifatul aruz ( i.e, I will sent a vicegerent on Earth) from the choosed option of Adam(PBUH) till the recoming of Messiah (the rubbed one, or anointed one) there is a plan of creation. And no one is able to understand except Almighty Allah(subhana wa ta ‘ala).
When the civilisations of seventh century were struggling, in dominating their power, Allah(subhana was ta ‘ala) sent his kul ka avatar or Rehmatul il alameen in 571 A.d from the womb of Bibi Amina. He was known with the name khatume rasul (the sealed one, or the sealed nector).
The Ashkanazi , Haredim, Sepharadi, Mizrachim, Hasidic Jews of Spain ,Yemen,Najad, Yajooj wa Majooj( Gogg and Maggog), Yuerasulem, and Khaybar of Medina were waiting for this prophet. In the old testament of Bible, songs of Solomon says,
“ Hik-’kow mam-taq-qim we-kul-low ma-ha-mad-dim zeh do-w-de wa zeh re-i be-no-w-et ye-ru-sa-lim”
Translation:” His(prophet Muhammad (PBUH) mouth is most sweet , He is altogether lovely ( Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), This is my beloved and my friend, O Daughters of yerushalim”.
Bible,Gospel no:22 of old testament. Gospel of songs of Solomon, chapter no:5th, verse no:16.
It has been narrated in the sayings (Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that,” I leave two things for the guidance of Moslems i.e, Holy Quran and Sunnah. Thus initial Moslems of Jaziratul Arab(Arabian peninsula), are known as staunch Moslims. But some movement of rationality and scientific thought germinated during the period of Sahabas(Glorified companions of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). Ibn Abbas (Radhiy ala hu tala anhu) was the first among Moslems, who scribed first Tafsir(exgesis) of Holy Quran. His magnum opus is well known with the name Tafseere Ibn Abbas( Exgesis of Holy Quran of Ibn Abbas).
Many Moslem scholars have established the position and status of Moslems according to the time i.e, Sahabas (Glorified companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Tabeen(following the Sahaba, Taba Tabeen(Following the Tabeen)etc. In real essence, Islamic Golden age refers to a period in the history of Islam, traditionally dated from the 8th century to the 13th century., During which much of the Islamic i.e, historically Islamic world was ruled by various caliphate’s and science, economic, development and cultural works flourished. This Time is tradionally understood to have begun during the reign of Abbasid caliph Haroon Al-Rashid (786-805 A.D). With the inauguration and erection of Bait-ul Hikmah(the house of Wisdom in Baghdad), where scholars from various parts of the world with different cultural backgrounds we’re mandated to gather and translate all of the world’s classical knowledge into the Arabic language. Because Arabic language was the lingau Franca of the that time and et par excellence in fluency.
The end of the age is variously given as 1258 A.D, with the Mongolian sack of Baghdad, or 1492 A.D with the completion of the Christian Reconquesta of the Emirate of Granada(Moslem Spain , Al-Andalus during nassirid era) i.e, Iberian peninsula. During the Golden age, the major islamic capital cities of Baghdad, Cairo and Cordoba became the cradle and main intellectual centres for Science, Philosophy, Medicine and Education. There were best scholars and notable translators, such as Hunayn Ibn Ishaq, had salaries estimated to be the equivalent of those of professional athletes and presidents of today.
The school of Nisibus and later the school of Edessa became centers of learning and transmission of Classical Wisdom. Infact the House of Wisdom(Bait-ul Hikmah) was a library, Translation Institute and Academy, and the library of Alexandria of Cairo, and the Imperial Library of Constantinople (present day Istanbul) housed new works of literature.
