Teenage girl among four killed in accidents across Jammu region

Jammu, Oct 9: Four persons including a teenage girl on Tuesday died in separate road accidents across Jammu region.
A teenager girl died in a road mishap near Satwari here on city outskirts.
“A girl identified as Jasvinder Kaur, daughter of Surjeet Singh, resident of Indira Nagar, Miran Sahib died due to a head injury when her two-wheeler hit a pedestrian Tuesday morning on airport road near Satwari and she fell on the road,” police here said.
They said that the deceased was a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu.
Meanwhile in separate incident, a motorcyclist died on the spot when his bike was hit by a tanker near Nardani, Ban Talab here.
The deceased identified as Akshay Pandita, resident of Suryavanshi Vihar, Lower Roop Nagar,Jammu died on the way to hospital, they said.
In an another accident, two persons were killed and one was critically injured when a load carrier collided with them and they were plunged into a deep gorge near Piyakul Kahara in Doda district.
The deceased persons were identified as Shabir Ahmad (32) of Chanyas and Nissar Ahmad (27), also of Chanyas while injured person namely Yassar Ahmad (28) was rushed to nearby hospital at Thathri.
