Governor felicitates school admin, praises them for their hard work

Srinagar, Oct 2: Girls Model Higher Secondary School Kulgam has received best higher secondary from the prospect of neat, clean, well maintained and attracting campus in the Jammu and Kashmir.
For this principal, GHSS was felicitated by Governor Jammu and Kashmir.
The award was received by its vice Principal Farooq Abdullah on behalf of principal GHSS.
The occasion was also graced by Khursheed Ahmad Ganie Advisor to Governor, Chief Secretary S. B. Subramanian and Commissioner Secretary Education Ajit Sahu.
Director School Education Kashmir Dr G N Itoo and other dignitaries from urban and local bodies and education sector were also present.
“This is one more feather to cap of principal GHSS Kulgam Chand Krishan, who is really unparallel, unique and distinguished while performing any sort of work weather small or big, he has brought the Higher Secondary to the new heights which are beyond imagination in short span of time (six months),” the school administration said.
They said that he not only has laid thrust to syllable curriculum but accelerated the co-curriculum activities equally from the prospect of sports, science, art and culture.
Out of almost 20000 schools across the Jammu and Kashmir GHSS Kulgam bagged the first position.
The competition was carried on the online submission of the photographic files of premises and class rooms. (KNS)
