Centre OKs anti-pollution project for J&K rivers

New Delhi, Oct 2: The Centre has approved a pollution abatement project for rivers Devika and Tawi in Jammu & Kashmir under the National River Conservation Plan (NRCP) at an estimated cost of Rs 186.74 crore.
The project cost is to be, shared on 90:10 between the Centre and the state government of J&K.
Accordingly, the central share will be Rs 168.66 crore while the state will have to spend Rs 18.08 crore.
