Kashmir shuts against civilian, militant killings

Srinagar, Sep 17: Kashmir observed a shutdown on Monday due to a shutdown called by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against the recent civilian and militant killings in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
All shops and other commercial establishments remained closed in city centre and other parts of summer capital Srinagar. Skeletal movement of public transport was witnessed in the city. However, private vehicles were seen plying on the roads in the city.
