Five days on: Fifth class student untraceable, Police seeks help to trace missing student

Kupwara, Sep 16: Police on Sunday sought help of the general public in tracing a boy, who is missing since September 12 from a Shaloora area of Kralpora in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A police spokesperson from police station Kralpora said that Nazir Ahmed Chopan of Shaloora lodged a complaint that his son Faisal Nazir Chopan (aged about 12 years old) Height about 4ft is missing since September 12.
“The missing boy is a student of AG’s Public School Shaloora and was in 5th Class, he is wearing green colour shirt and grey colour pent and did not report home back from the said date,” the spokesperson said.
In this regard, a report was registered and search to trace out the missing boy has been started, he said.
“Anybody having any information regarding the missing boy may kindly inform PCR Kupwara on 7051404938, MCH Kralpora on 7051404919 or SHO Kralpora on 7051404918” he added.
