Srinagar, Sep 6: A couple of private job aspirants Thursday alleged that a security service company in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district has been economically exploiting the unemployed youth.
The company in question is JK Baba Security Service (JKBSS).
“The company promised me job of a security guard in a private institution. It asked me to submit my original documents and later on demanded Rs 3500/ as registration fee. When I completed all the formalities, I was posted in the private institution with a meager Rs 2500 salary. I felt cheated and asked the owner to return Rs 3500 back to me, but neither he returned the money nor the original documents,” said one Umar Hamid Rather of Larkipora Anantnag.
He added that after visiting the office of this security service company for multiple times, he was able to get his original documents back but the registration fee that he had deposited was not given back to him.
A couple of job aspirants also narrated the similar kinds of stories. They alleged that the said company is looting unemployed youth. They appealed authorities and district administration to initiate action against the owner of the company.
When contacted, Ishfaq Ahmed Baba, the owner of the company said that demanding registration fee and original documents from job aspirants is a normal thing and it has nothing to do with exploitation. (CNS)
