Militants attack army vehicle in Pulwama

Srinagar:  Militants on Tuesday morning  tried to blow up a bunker vehicle of army at Navpora Payeen village in south Kashmir’s Pulwma district by detonating an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The blast was also followed by firing.
A police official said that there was no immediate report of any loss of life or injuries.
This is the second such attack in south Kashmir during past four months. Earlier on May 27, militants triggered an IED in Turkwangam area of Shopian, causing injuries to four army soldiers.
