India, Pak armies exchange sweets on LoC

Jammu, Aug 14: Indian and Pakistan Armies on Tuesday exchanged sweets on the eve of I-Day celebration along the Line of Control at Chakkan da Bagh Trade Point in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“On the eve of Independence Day Pakistan Army handed over sweets to their Indian counterpart this afternoon at Chakkan da Bagh,” defence sources here said.
They said that exchange of sweets also marked as 14 August, the day Pakistan celebrates as their I-Day.
On Wednesday, the Indian side will also exchange sweets with them.
Meanwhile, there are reports that BSF and Pakistani Rangers have also exchanged sweets along international border at Octroi Post here.
