DSEK visits far flung area of Damhaal Hanjipora

Kulgam, Aug 8: Department of Education Wednesday started 18 day long Community Mobilisation programme in all 6 educational zones of Kulgam district. Directorate of School Education Kashmir Thursday visited the said programme in zone Damhaal Hanjipora.
On the occasion children from various schools participated in the programme while as director school education Kashmir felicitated the gathering and gave awareness among the participants about the schemes available in the department for betterment of education in all the categories like CWSN, OBCs etc.
During this 18 Day long programme department will sensitise community members about importance of education and to enroll their wards in schools for education. The programme was attended by all VECs, parents and employees of education department of Kulgam district.
Further, the Director said that people should take advantage of government schemes so that the target of education can be achieved . The parents should prefer admission of their children in government schools rather than private schools.
In the community program cultural program different schools participated in it. Later, certificates were distributed along with cash to the students by Director School Education Kashmir.
