Headmaster among 5 teachers suspended over unauthorized absence in Kangan

Srinagar, Jul 31: Five teachers including headmaster of a government middle school in Kangan tehsil of Ganderbal district were suspended on Tuesday for their unauthorized absence from their school.
During a surprise visit carried out by Cheif Education officer Ganderbal Sheikh Gayas U Din, five teachers including headmaster of Government Boys Middle School Behki Margoona in Kangan were found absent from their duties without any formal permission.
“Five teachers including headmaster have been suspended from their duties till further orders”, the official said.
The suspended teachers are identified as Firdous Ahmad Shah (Headmaster)of the school, Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Riyaz Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad and Sheikh Mohammed Ashraf.
