Locals residents said that “unscheduled and frequent power cuts still persist despite passing of winter months.
However, in July consumers in different areas of Ganderbal complained of unscheduled power cuts ranging from eight to ten hours a day.
“The Power Development Department is resorting to forced cuts,” said Rashid Ahmad, a resident of Nunner.
Locals said that “they are facing repeated power cuts during morning and evening hours.
People also complained that that unscheduled curtailments are hampering the studies of their wards. “The power supply is being curtailed in contravention of the existing schedule.
