Srinagar, Jul 18: Abdul Rashid War took charge as Mission Director Jammu Kashmir State Rural Livelihood Mission on Wednesday. He assumed charge from the outgoing Mission Director Bakshi Javid Hamayun at a simple ceremony held in the state office of JKSRLM here.
On his arrival at the JKSRLM office, Abdul Rashid War was welcomed by Additional Mission Director Kashmir, Rifat Aftab Qureshi and other officials of the department.
Immediately after assuming office as Mission Director, Rashid took a meeting with all the Block Programme Managers, and other staff members of project UMEED and emphasized on providing accountable, responsive administration to the people.
He further said that the Mission aims to achieve the new heights by accomplishing the pre-determined goals. Later the Mission Director along with State Anchor of National Rural Livelihood Mission for J&K, Hari Krishnan visited Residential training center and interacted with IRPs (Internal Professional Resource Person) from various blocks of Umeed.
