Governor’s administration has cleared the pay anomaly file of the state government employees near after 22-years. The political regimes which ruled Jammu and Kashmir during the past two decades ignored the genuine demand of the employees and didn’t pay much heed towards their sufferings.
The Governor’s administration realized the gravity of the situation and just within a few days after taking over the reins of the state cleared the Governor Vohra cleared pay anomaly file.
The file had been pending for the past 22-years. The Governor N N Vohra took a decision in one ago. It would benefit thousands of employees. During the past two decades the middle rung government employees went on strike on many occasions to press the successive regimes to clear the file. Every time they were given assurances but these were not implemented.
Many people believe that imposition of the Governor’s rule in the state is a “blessing in a disguise” as they expect that governance would improve and their long pending issues will be addressed.
Since the day Governor has taken over the reins of the state administration has become active and the officials are working independently without any pulls and pressures. Pace of the developmental works has picked up.
The Governor Vohra was appointed as the head of the state in the midst Amarnath land row in 2008. At that point of time there was no political dispensation at place and J&K was burning. But he handled the situation very tactfully. His track record has been excellent and whenever he has ruled the state the situation has improved. This time also people expect a lot from him. During the past one decade the Governor Vohra has proved it again and again that he is an able administrator.
