Ram Madhav’s Srinagar visit triggers political realignments

Srinagar, Jun 27: BJP’s National General Secretary Ram Madhav on his maiden visit to Srinagar after the fall of Mehbooba government met Governor N N Vohra in connection with the conduct of Amarnath Yatra but he also held corner meetings with state BJP leaders including former ministers of the party and saffron party’s only ally in Kashmir Sajad Gani Lone who heads Jammu & Kashmir people Conference. Mahav plans secret meetings with political leaders of some other parties tomorrow.
Top sources disclosed that after corner meetings with the senior party leaders including former ministers and key party office bearers Madhav plans meetings with leaders of some other political parties in an effort to give a push to the political realignments in the state.
Top BJP leaders who attended corner meeting with Madhav include State BJP Chief Ravinder Raina , former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, former ministers Sat Sharma, Sham Lal Choudhry, Sunil Sharma and Sajad Gani Lone who heads J&K Peoples’ Conference.
Sources claimed that Ram Madhav is planning meetings with some more leaders of other political parties and the process of secret meetings started today by Madhav are likely to continue for some more time. (KNS)
