Srinagar, Jun 20: Directing secretaries to personally review and ensure prompt and efficient delivery of various public services to the people, the Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohara Wednesday urged the officials to provide “clean and efficient services” to the people of the state.

The Governor directed the heads of various departments to work tirelessly for the welfare of the state.
“Services to people are to be improved on a priority basis. I do not need to tell and I do not want to tell you. What I need is better results on the ground from all of you,” he said.
He said that concrete steps should be taken by the administration regarding the effective redressal of grievances.
The Governor also desired that accountability should be fixed at all levels to ensure that the problems of the people are solved in a time-bound manner.
