Licenses of 5 medicine outlets suspended for eight day in Sopore


Srinagar, May 9: A special team of drug department inspected dozens of medical shops in Zaingeer area of Sopore including Bomai Tujjar Shareef and Seelo.
Sources said that five drug licenses were suspended for 7 to 8 days for not maintaining the psychotropic’s medicine sale record.
Drug inspector Pattan, Shabir Ahmad Pandit said that if any retailer will not maintain sale record, he will be punished under Drug and Cosmetic Act.
A senior drug official further told that if any Govt employ is running medical shop without drug license he will also be punished under the law. (KNS)
