JRL calls for strike today, asks people to march towards civil secretariat

Srinagar, May 6: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Sunday asked people to march towards the civil secretariat Monday to protest ‘continuous bloodshed’ in Kashmir.
JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik made the announcement after five militants and equal number of civilians were by government forces Sunday.
Announcing JRL programme, Hurriyat(M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq wrote on micro blogging site: “Words fail to express the pain of the tragedy unfolding in #Shopian as the count of the brutally killed by Indian forces keeps rising!Tomorrow as the “Durbar“of our killers opens in Srinagar, leadership and people from all walks, Traders, lawyers, students, employees and others will…”.
In another tweet, Mirwaiz wrote “…move towards civil secretariat and will sit in a peaceful dharna till the daily carnage is not stopped .The protest strike will continue.(JRL)”
