Srinagar, Apr 30: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Ram Madhav on Monday said cabinet reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir “has nothing to do with the Kathua incident”.
Madav made a comment on micro blogging website Twitter.
“The cabinet reshuffle has nothing to do with the Kathua incident. Our government has completed three years and we decided to give a chance to new faces. 5 members of the party will be sworn-in as ministers today,” wrote Madhav.
The move is seen as a step to clear party’s image after two BJP ministers Chandra Prakash Ganga and Choudhary Lal Singh had participated in a rally organized by Hindu Ekta Munch outfit in favour of the accused in Kathua minor rape and murder incident.
