Srinagar, Apr 21: BJP plans to hold a high level meeting to decide the reshuffle in its part of coalition ministry after April 25 next week and induct some party’s new faces in the ministry.

BJP National Vice President, Incharge J&K affairs Avinash Rai Khanna told KNS that “a high level meeting will be held after April 25 next week to decide the reshuffle in the BJP part of the coalition ministry and induction of some new faces in the ministry.”

When asked to name the new faces likely to be inducted in the ministry, Khanna said “the names will be decided in the meeting only.”

In reply to a question on the anti-party activities of two sacked ministers Chowdhary Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga, Khanna said “Chander Prakash Ganga has not taken any rally. As far as the activities of Chowdhary Lal Singh are concerned the issue will be discussed in the meeting and action if needed will be initiated.” He assured the people of the state fast track development and said coalition is working well and will last its full term.

Amid speculations in national and local media about the resignations by BJP ministers KNS had quoted Ashok Koul, the state BJP general secretary (Organisation) as saying that no minister has resigned and all ministers are doing their routine work. KNS had also quoted senior BJP leader and minister for health and medical education Bali Bhagat as saying “the rumours about resignations by BJP ministers are spread by media only.”

Interestingly the BJP ministers have been attending official functions as ministers and attending their duties at civil secretariat Jammu as usual.
