12 employees suspended for absence from duty in Tulail

Srinagar, Apr 5: Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday has initiated action against 12 employees of different departments, including a doctor, for remaining absent from duty in border area of Tulail in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, an official spokesman said here.
He said Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gurez, Sandeep Singh Bali today conducted a surprise inspection of various government department offices in Tulail tehsil of Gurez sub-division
During the inspection, 12 employees including 8 teachers, 3 lecturers and 1 doctor were found unauthorizedly absent from their duties.
The absentees have been recommended for suspension and necessary action as per the service laws.
The SDM stressed upon the controlling officers to ensure punctuality of employees in government offices and educational institutions in the far-flung and hilly areas of Gurez and Tulail tehsils so that people do not face any difficulty.
