Kulgam, Mar 28: A workshop was held in Degree College Kulgam by Centre for Policy Reforms and Development (CPRD) in association with the management of the college. In the workshop a group of sixty students were trained to harness their skills in the present global scenario. The students were through multiple techniques imparted with the knowledge of dealing with the concurrent issues faced by the students.
The principal of the college while giving his lecture appreciated the efforts of CPRD for organizing the workshop. “There is a need to organize more of such events not only in colleges but in schools and universities is well”. He assured all support to CPRD in future endeavours.
Famous Journalist and one of the workshop trainers Gowhar Geelani said that the ideas on which the workshop is premised is a novel idea and it will help students in going higher to aspire their goals. Geelani expressed his happiness that the interactive session with the students proved to be very fruitful as students asked many questions and tried to clear their goals, “its very good(asking questions) but you cannot clear long doubts by answering questions in one sitting” he said.
Rayees Rasool, the founder of CPRD expressed his desire and willingness to take this campaign to all the coplleges of south Kashmir at the first stage, “although we do desire tp organize such workshops in all the colleges of Kashmir but as we are based in South we would initiate this mission from the colleges of south Kashmir” he said. He announced that we will be taking up a series of such workshops in Pulwama and Anantnag Colleges in near future.
