Clashes erupt in Sopore after forces lay siege

Sopore, Mar 27: Clashes erupted in Bratkalan village of north Kashmir’s Sopore town after Government Forces laid siege thre.
Eyewitnesses said that at least five youth were injured in the clashes.
Reports said that 22 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian army, Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF launched a joint operation in Brath village following inputs about the presence of militants.
They said that the searches were on for several hours, however nothing was found. Few gunshots were also heard during the searches, but it was not known who fired the shots. However, a police official later said that the search parties could have fired some speculative shots.
