Protest erupt in Kokernag after CRPF vehicle hits school vehicle

 

Srinagar, Mar 18: Protests erupted near Hangalgund, Kokernag village of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday after a CRPF vehicle hit a private vehicle ferrying school children.
Scores of locals assembled at main road Hangalgund Kokernag and staged protests against government forces. The protesters demanded stern action against the erring driver of the vehicle.
According to locals, a speedy central Reserve Force vehicle hit a private vehicle ferrying school children resulting in minor injuries of three students.
When contacted SHO Kokernag he confirmed the incident and said the issue has been sorted out and everything is under control. (PTK)
