People eagerly waiting for NC to return: Tanvir Says PDP’s ship has started sinking

Srinagar, Mar 13: National Conference leader and Omar Abdullah’s political Secretary, Tanvir Sadiq Tuesday described NC as a deep rooted mass movement enjoying unimpeachable standing across Jammu and Kashmir.
“NC is the only party with credible footprints in all the constituencies of the State”, Tanvir said while addressing a party convention in Khoushalsar Zadibal
Tanvir exhorted the party workers to get activated and said the political atmosphere enveloping across the State is highly conducive for National Conference with people eager to give it a decisive mandate. “People eagerly waiting for NC to return,” he said.
Tanvir said “NC is the natural choice for the people of J&K. There is an overwhelming demand cutting across society for NC to reassume responsibility for JK”.
He exuded confidence that the party will emerge as a force to reckon with in near future “I am confident that National Conference is poised for massive victory both in the next parliamentary and assembly elections.
The PDP ship has started sinking – their anti people and anti Kashmir policies will decimate it. “You see the day is not far when PDP which came to power with trickery will be decimated by the same people who got it to power” Sadiq said adding these people will find political drought by not even finding candidates to field for the contest in certain constituencies. These were always proxies and now they are exposed.
Tanvir said the role of National Conference in the political empowerment of Jammu and Kashmir cannot be undermined, as the founding fathers awakened the people from deep slumber and empowered them to fight for their rights. “We are inheritors of great political legacy and it is incumbent upon all of us to work for strengthening the bonds of amity and brotherhood”, Sadiq said and urged the workers to work in their areas for strengthening further the party for meeting the challenge.
