Killing militants can’t restore peace in Valley: Akbar Lone

Srinagar, Mar 12: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference senior leader and MLA Sonawari Mohammad Akbar Lone Monday said that killing militant is not solution to Kashmir issue.
He said that killing militants can’t restore peace in turbulent Valley. He said that nobody knows that either they are militants or not. “Allah knows better are they militants or not”, he said.
He said that army wants to kill people in Kashmir. He said that government needs to talk to militants which would be the significant step for the peace in Kashmir.
He said that everyday there are killings in Kashmir, so we how can be sure that those killed were militants.
He said that this government has failed on every front. He further said that it is really unfortunate at the part of government that they cannot open schools. “Whenever they make plans to open school in Valley the situation turns other side”, he said. (PTK)
