Srinagar, Mar 12: Central Contractors Coordination Committee (CCCC) on Monday staged protests against the government for failing to release their pending payment.
Scores of members led by its General Secretary, Farooq Ahmad Dar assembled at irrigation division Anantnag and chanted slogans in favour of their demands.
The protesters were demanding revocation of e-billing and release of their pending payment.
They threatened to damage already completed project in case their demands won’t met upto Mar 15.
‘We will hit the streets and will damage all the already completed projects in case our demands won’t meet,” they said, appealing the government to release their pending payment at an earliest.
