Law and order training programme organised in Anantnag

Anantnag, Mar 8: Two days after Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti impressed upon all the security agencies to work in synergy to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are strictly adhered to, police has started three –day “Police-CRPF” Law and Order training camp to ensure synergy and to adopt latest SOPs in handling law and order situation.
Reviewing the security and law and order situation at a high level meeting on Tuesday, Mehbooba had impressed upon all the security agencies to work in synergy to ensure that SOP as laid out should be strictly adhered to and in no way be these violated or overlooked.
She was speaking at a high level meeting after six people, including two Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants were killed in Shopian in an encounter by security forces.
A police spokesman said on Thursday evening that to ensure synergy and to adopt latest SOPs in handling law and order situations, Anantnag police have started three-day joint (Police and CRPF) Law and Order training camp at DPL Anantnag.
The Anantnag Police have come up with a special training session for J&K Police and CRPF personnel to handle law and order situations, stone pelting and unlawful gathering.
