Editor Uqaab, Manzoor Unjum bereaved

Srinagar, Mar 7: Ali Mohammad Shah, elder brother of editor Uqaab, Manzoor Unjum, passed away Tuesday night. He was 75.
Shah was an engineer with the Public Works Department (PWD) and was living in Brain Nishat after his retirement.
Shah was unwell for last three weeks and breathed his last in the hospital around 12 am last night, a family member said.
Family sources said as per Shah’s wishes, the death will be mourned for three days followed by Fateh Khwani on Friday after the Zuhar prayers are over.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has condoled with Editor, Uqaab, Manzoor Anjum over the demise of his elder brother who passed away today at Srinagar.
The Chief Minister has prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul while extending her heartfelt sympathies to Anjum and other members of the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) chief, G A Mir on Wednesday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing away of Ali Mohd Shah who happened to be the elder brother of Manzoor Anjum Editor Daily Uqab.
In a condolence message, Mir expressed solidarity with bereaved family, especially Manzoor Anjum saying that the departed soul was an upright personality.
He offered deepest condolences to bereaved family and sympathized with them. Mir also prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
