Shutdown continues for 2nd day in south Kashmir

Srinagar: Shopian, Pulwama and Anantnag districts continued to observe shutdown for the second consecutive day on Tuesday to mourn the killing of six youth, including four civilians and two Lashkar-e-Toiba militants on Sunday.
All the shops remained shut while traffic was off the roads. The shutdown is being observed despite no strike call for today.
Joint Resistance Leadership has called for Shopian Chalo on Wednesday, March 7.
Mobile internet services continue to remain blocked in Pulwama and Shopian while the mobile internet was restored in Anantnag late last evening.
