Srinagar, Mar 5: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) chairman, Lateef-uz-Zaman Deva said that the KAS exams scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday have been postponed. “Next dates for the exams will be notified soon,” he said.
Meanwhile, officials in the Kashmir University said that in view of concerns expressed by students and consequent upon the prevailing circumstances, the class-work at University of Kashmir shall remain suspended on March 6, 2018 (Tuesday).
“Furthermore, all examinations scheduled to be held on March 6 and March 7 (Tuesday and Wednesday) are postponed. Fresh dates for the deferred examinations shall be notified separately, later,” officials said.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has postponed all the exams scheduled for March 6 and 7.
“ All the schools of Kashmir Division shall remain closed on March 6 and 7 and the scheduled papers for biannual examinations of 10th and 12th classes in the division are also postponed,” a statement of the Board said.
The Joint Secretary JKBOSE, Syed Rouf said the new dates shall be announced later.
The authorities in Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) have ordered for postponement of all the exams which were scheduled on Tuesday.
The official spokesman said the fresh dates for the deferred examinations will be announced separately, later.
“We don’t have any classwork in the varsity these days but all the exams scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed,” official spokesman of the University said.
