Combined forces hold meet, Pledge to fight militancy jointly

Srinagar, Feb 26: A high level joint meeting of Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF was held at Kilo Force Headquarters at Sharifabad Monday.
The meeting was chaired by Major General AK Singh, Kilo Force Commander and IGP Kashmir that was attended by various Sector Commanders, Commanding Officers and SSPs of all districts of North Kashmir.
Senior Officers of the respective services interacted with the functional level officers and reviewed the security situation in North Kashmir.
Apart from sharing of ideas and objectives, review of intelligence and operations was carried out which led to strengthening of joint operational strategy to counter the designs of militants in days ahead.
Besides sharing of intelligence and ideas, the Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, SP Pani assured everyone of total support and continued synergy among the Security Forces.
IG CRPF also gave valuable insights and assured full support during all operations. Maj Gen AK Singh emphasized that the entire North Kashmir is well geared to fight against the militants and exhorted everyone to continue working towards bringing peace and harmony in the region. (CNS)
