Srinagar, Feb 25: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested three burglars and recovered stolen property worth lakhs of rupees in the central Kashmir district of Budgam, a police spokesman said on Sunday.
He said a complaint was filed in police station Beerwah by one Tawseef Ahmad about burglary in his shop at Beerwah on February 15.
A FIR was registered and investigation taken up, he said adding during the investigation police detained one Waheed Ahmad. During the questioning he admitted the crime and informed that two more persons were involved in the burglary. Later police arrested Bilal and Abdul Hamid, he said adding that on their disclosure stolen property worth lakhs of rupees, included over 60 mobile phones, mobile batteries, charges and other items were recovered.
