Amit Kumar inaugurates new police station in south Kashmir

 

Pulwama, Feb 21: Deputy Inspector General South Kashmir Range Amit Kumar today inaugurated the new police station at Kakapora which has been upgraded from Police Post to Police Station in presence of SSP Pulwama Muhammad Aslam (KPS), ASP Pulwama Chandan Kohli (IPS) and other officers.
Besides a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held at Police Station Kakapora which was chaired by DIG SKR Anantnag. The meet was attended by Traders Federation, Transport union Kakapora and also a larger number members of civil society of Kakapora and adjoining villages.
Similarly another PCPG meeting was chaired by Amit Kumar (IPS) DIG SKR at DPL Pulwama. Surpanches, Punches, Numberdars, Market committee, Transporters, Trade Union and large number of respectables of Pulwama area participated and put forth their grievances/problems.
The participants were assured by DIG for the appropriate disposal of all the points put forth by the locals. The DIG SKR and SSP Pulwama also assured the participants for any possible help from police side and at the same time suggested the participants to extend their cooperation for eradication of social evils.
