Traffic diversion in Soura areas leave people fuming Residents threaten mass protests, seek intervention of Transport Minister

 

Srinagar, Feb 18: The people of Usmanabad, Ahmadnagar and other adjoining areas have been badly hit by the traffic diversion enforced by the traffic department in the area.
According to reports, the residents have sought relaxation in the diversion of traffic announced by the department.
Calling upon the authorities to allow at least half of the traffic moment through the areas where traffic moment has been debarred. The people of these areas have threatened to stage mass protests on the roads if the authorities don’t immediately relax the traffic diversion plan as the patients being taken to SKIMS Soura could face even deaths before reaching the hospital.
The residents have sought the immediate intervention Transport Minister and IG Traffic Kashmir. (KNS)
