Kupwara, Feb 18: The Department of Indian System of Medicines (AYUSH) today organized a day-long awareness camp at Sub District Hospital Langate.
The camp was presided over by District Nodal Officer National Ayush Mission Kupwara Dr Shabir Ahmad was attended by Block Medical Officer Langate, District Coordinator IEC, Ayush Medical Officers, Aganwari Supervisors, Asha workers and FMPHW.
The seminar was aimed at providing general awareness about National AYUSH Mission to the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Nodal Officer National Ayush Mission said that a number of dispensaries are going to be functional under AYUSH Mission in the district. He said that the doctors and the paramedical staff of the AYUSH should aware people about various programmes under which Indian System of Medicines is providing medicare.
The District Coordinator IEC highlighted the achievements of AYUSH in the district and stressed the participants to follow the AYUSH medicines as according to him are side-effect free.
