MHW signs MoU with IUST for student/faculty exchange programmes outside country


Srinagar, Feb 14: Mother Helpage Worldwide (MHW), an international humanitarian organisation, working in Kashmir, Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Islamic University of Sciences and Technology (IUST) whereby the former will facilitate the later in student and faculty exchange programmes within and outside the country.
A spokesperson of the MHW said, “The MoU shall collaborate on knowledge partnership in the area of academics, research, trainings, entrepreneurship and human resources development. The two organisations will work together in creating best possible environ for teaching and learning process. The MHW will facilitate the University in student and faculty exchange between the IUST and other institutions/universities both within and outside the state and country.”
“Besides facilitating career counseling and personality development sessions, the MHW will also facilitate the University in organising virtual classes/lectures by subject experts of repute in various subjects for the University students,” he said.
The MHW has shall also provide at least two scholarships per year to the poor but meritorious students seeking admission in various programmes offered by the University. The scholarship shall be name as “Sohail Nasiti Scholarship. (KNS)
