That’s the verdict of Match of the Day pundit Dion Dublin.
Arsene Wenger has faced accusations of diminishing Lacazette’s confidence by repeatedly substituting and dropping him for big games.
The French striker came off the bench and had a guilt-edged chance to equalise for Arsenal in added time.
But the 26-year-old snatched at his chance, pulled his shot wide and the Gunners lost 1-0.
Dublin told the BBC programme that a confident forward like Harry Kane would have scored the opportunity in a number of ways.
“He [Lacazette] makes the run in behind and he’s in on goal but he chooses to strike it with his instep,” he said.
