Budgam, Feb 7, CNS: The traders from Magam market in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district Wednesdaystaged a protest demanding flood relief for the losses they suffered during 2014 devastating deluge.
The shopkeepers said that from Patwari to Tehsidar, the concerned officials conducted detailed survey, however, that survey remained limited on papers only.
“From past three years, we have been knocking at the doors of concerned officials but except assurances we get nothing,” said a group of protesting shopkeepers to news agency CNS.
They appealed Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to look into the matter and mitigate their sufferings. (CNS)
